Running with a view with

VISTA RUNNERS

Running in Real Life

Running is meant to enhance life not replace it or get in the way of it. How many of us feel like rest and recovery are sacrificed to maintain the work-life balance? Or feel like they are missing out in social events to hit training targets?

That is the goal of Vista Runners. I coach athletes to running with view. Training requires a balanced perspective to healthily maintain training, community, work, family and rest. Our feet can take us so many amazing places in our hearts and the world and to make sure we stay on our feet a holistic view of commitments and goals on and off the running path will help any athlete achieve their goals - with joy.

My coaching planning and training plans take into account your entire day’s/week’s energy expenditures in addition to your specific training goals. Plans include speed workouts, long runs, maintenance runs, yoga, and strength modules that can be interwoven into your schedule. Have other athletic hobbies? Great! Let’s include them. Run with a local run club? Wonderful! Let’s incorporate those runs into the scope of the training plan. Is there a stressful work week coming up? Respect the hustle! We can move adjust for more rest. The benefit of an individualized plan is the responding the athlete as a whole human, not just a runner.
